No. It is simply high-quality roasted coffee. The name points to the mission, not an ingredient. Same name. Different powder.

US orders of $65 or more ship free (after discounts, before tax). Below $65, shipping is one flat $6.99 charge for the whole order, including coffee, merchandise and subscriptions. Coffee roasted in Tampa usually ships within 1–3 business days; partner-roasted coffees within 2–5. Items may arrive in separate shipments.

Pick a delivery interval and subscribe on the product page. From your account you can skip a delivery, reschedule, pause, or cancel anytime — there's no minimum number of deliveries. We email you before each renewal.

We don’t lab-test every batch, so we don’t print caffeine numbers. What we can tell you is what’s in the bag. Max Caf is about half Arabica, half Robusta: our highest-Robusta blend. Breakfast Blend+ is our smooth Breakfast Blend with some Robusta blended in, less than Max Caf. Robusta is generally accepted to have more caffeine than Arabica. Draw your own conclusions.

Going the other way? House Decaf is Swiss Water® Process decaf, and Half Caf is half regular, half decaf.

Yes. The O.G. comes from Caicedo, Antioquia — officially the first non-violent municipality in Colombia. It earned that title because of coffee: in 2002 residents linked arms at the El Vaho bridge, unarmed, to stop armed groups seizing their harvest. Unfortunately, the same conditions that make our coffee delicious also provide the perfect environment for coca to flourish. It is our goal to help the community decide between the two — and leave cocaine for coffee.

Yes. ORGANIC Clean Bean is USDA Certified Organic and Fair Trade Certified — single-origin Colombian coffee grown in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It’s available now. Our other Colombian roasts are specialty-grade (SCA 84+) but not certified organic — and we say so plainly.

Specialty coffee scores 80+ on the Specialty Coffee Association's 100-point scale, graded by certified Q-graders on aroma, flavor, body and balance. Every coffee we sell clears that bar. Our Colombian single origins go further: The Morning Fix (84), The O.G. (84+) and El Flaco Grande (87). Higher scores also mean better prices for farmers, which is the whole point.

Caicedo, the town The O.G. comes from, voted twice to declare itself non-violent after losing people to the conflict. We take that seriously, and we'd rather you judged us on where the coffee comes from than on the name.

Our dealer is a roaster in California. Our New Roasts — the espresso blends, Ethiopia, Bali Blue, Max Caf, Breakfast Blend+, decaf, cold brew, flavored coffees and single-serve cups — are specialty grade (SCA 80+), roasted in small batches by our partner roastery in California, and ship from there, usually within 2–5 business days. If your order also includes coffee from our Tampa roastery, it may arrive in two boxes. Shipping is still one charge for the whole order.
