Cocaine Coffee™ is a specialty coffee company built around Colombia and a bold idea: replace coca production with coffee cultivation. Every coffee we sell is specialty grade (SCA 80+), and our Colombian single origins score 84 to 87.

Our name is provocative by design — but our mission is serious.

We don’t lab-test every batch, so we don’t print caffeine numbers. What we can tell you is what’s in the bag. Max Caf is about half Arabica, half Robusta: our highest-Robusta blend. Breakfast Blend+ is our smooth Breakfast Blend with some Robusta blended in, less than Max Caf. Robusta is generally accepted to have more caffeine than Arabica. Draw your own conclusions.

Going the other way? House Decaf is Swiss Water® Process decaf, and Half Caf is half regular, half decaf.

Cocaine for Coffee™ is our giving program, built on a simple belief: specialty coffee can compete with coca, and communities shaped by the drug trade can rebuild through coffee.

Yes. The O.G. comes from Caicedo, Antioquia — el primer municipio Noviolento de Colombia. It earned that title because of coffee: in 2002 residents linked arms at the El Vaho bridge, unarmed, to stop armed groups seizing their harvest. They held three times. The town confirmed the commitment by popular vote in 2007 and 2013, and was formally proclaimed in 2014.

Every bag sold helps make the case that legal crops can compete with illegal ones.

Specialty coffee is coffee that scores 80 points or higher on the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) 100-point scale, graded by certified Q-graders on aroma, flavor, aftertaste, acidity, body, balance and overall quality. Below 80 is commodity-grade.

Every coffee we sell clears that bar. Our Colombian single origins go further: The Morning Fix (84), The O.G. (84+) and El Flaco Grande (87).

Why it matters. Higher scores mean better prices for farmers, access to specialty buyers instead of commodity markets, and a real economic alternative to coca. When a farmer can consistently produce 84+ coffee, the crop becomes worth protecting.

Small-batch roasting means we roast in limited quantities — carefully and with full attention — instead of in massive industrial runs.

Our Colombian single-origin roasts are grown at high altitude in regions known for rich soil and ideal climate.

• The O.G. — Caicedo, Antioquia. Washed, 1,950–2,100 m, SCA 84+, via Aprokafe.
• The Morning Fix — Ebéjico, Antioquia. Washed, 1,800–2,100 m. A community lot from multiple smallholder farms, selected at the Los Cedros buying station.
• El Flaco Grande — Finca Los Cedros, Ebéjico. Yellow Honey, 1,900–2,100 m, SCA 87. A 168-hour fermentation using roughly 39 litres less water per kilo than washed processing.
• ORGANIC Clean Bean — Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. USDA Organic certified.

Unfortunately, the same conditions that make our coffee delicious also suit coca. Our goal is to help the community choose between the two.

Our dealer is a roaster in California. Our New Roasts — the espresso blends, Ethiopia, Bali Blue, Max Caf, Breakfast Blend+, decaf, cold brew, flavored coffees and single-serve cups — are specialty grade (SCA 80+), roasted in small batches by our partner roastery in California, and ship from there, usually within 2–5 business days. If your order also includes coffee from our Tampa roastery, it may arrive in two boxes. Shipping is still one charge for the whole order.

Our first organic roast — ORGANIC Clean Bean — is available now.

Clean Bean is a registered USDA Organic coffee. Certification and sourcing details are product-specific; check each product page rather than assuming they apply across the lineup. Regardless of the label, we prioritize quality, traceability and responsible farming.

FREE for US orders of $65 or more (after discounts, before tax). Below $65, we charge one flat $6.99 for the whole order, including coffee, merchandise and subscriptions.

Shipping policy. Coffee roasted in Tampa usually ships within 1–3 business days. Partner-roasted coffees are usually dispatched within 2–5 business days, and merchandise ships separately from our print partner. Items may arrive in separate shipments. Delivery times are estimates and may vary by carrier and location.

Shipping responsibility. Once an order is handed to the carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for carrier delays, lost or stolen packages marked as delivered, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

All coffee sold on www.cocainecoffee.com is final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges, and we do not offer refunds once an order has been placed. This exists to ensure product safety and freshness, and compliance with food safety regulations.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error, contact orders@cocainecoffee.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. A replacement or reimbursement may be issued at the discretion of Cocaine Coffee™.
