No. Absolutely not. Cocaine Coffee contains 100% legal, roasted coffee beans and zero drugs of any kind. Our products comply with all applicable U.S. food safety and labeling laws. The name represents our mission — Cocaine for Coffee™ — transformation, not ingredients.

A premium Colombian coffee brand built on a bold idea: replace coca production with coffee cultivation. We source high-quality (SCA 84+) Colombian coffee from regions historically associated with the drug trade, and we support the transition toward legal, sustainable coffee production.

Our name is provocative by design — but our mission is serious.

Cocaine for Coffee™ is our long-term initiative to support farmers transitioning away from coca production and into coffee cultivation.

At its core is our commitment to source single-origin coffee beans from high-altitude Colombian regions where coffee competes directly with coca. As the movement grows, our goal is to deepen community ties and expand support for sustainable livelihoods.

Yes. The O.G. comes from Caicedo, Antioquia — el primer municipio Noviolento de Colombia. It earned that title because of coffee: in 2002 residents linked arms at the El Vaho bridge, unarmed, to stop armed groups seizing their harvest. They held three times. The town confirmed the commitment by popular vote in 2007 and 2013, and was formally proclaimed in 2014.

Every bag sold helps prove that legal crops can outperform illegal ones — economically and culturally.

Specialty coffee is coffee that scores 80 points or higher on the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) 100-point scale, graded by certified Q-graders on aroma, flavor, aftertaste, acidity, body, balance and overall quality. Below 80 is commodity-grade.

At Cocaine Coffee, every coffee we sell scores SCA 84 or higher. Our El Flaco Grande currently sits at SCA 87.

Why it matters. Higher scores mean better prices for farmers, access to specialty buyers instead of commodity markets, and a real economic alternative to coca. When a farmer can consistently produce 84+ coffee, the crop becomes worth protecting.

Small-batch roasting means we roast in limited quantities — carefully and with full attention — instead of in massive industrial runs.

We roast in Tampa, not in Colombia. That matters: coffee is at its best in the weeks right after roasting, so roasting here ships you coffee at peak freshness instead of beans that spent weeks in transit. Smaller batches let us roast more often and dial in the profile for each lot.

Our single-origin roasts come from Colombia, grown at high altitude in regions known for rich soil and ideal climate.

• The O.G. — Caicedo, Antioquia. Washed, 1,950–2,100 m, SCA 84+, via Aprokafe.
• The Morning Fix — Ebéjico, Antioquia. Washed, 1,800–2,100 m. A community lot from multiple smallholder farms, selected at the Los Cedros buying station.
• El Flaco Grande — Finca Los Cedros, Ebéjico. Yellow Honey, 1,900–2,100 m, SCA 87. A 168-hour fermentation using roughly 39 litres less water per kilo than washed processing.
• ORGANIC Clean Bean — Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. USDA Organic certified.

Unfortunately, the same conditions that make our coffee delicious also suit coca. Our goal is to help the community choose between the two.

Our first organic roast — ORGANIC Clean Bean — is available now.

While Clean Bean is our only registered USDA Organic coffee, many of our coffees are grown using organic or low-intervention practices. Regardless of the label, we prioritize quality, traceability and responsible farming.

There are no additives — just natural caffeine from premium Colombian coffee.

A little roast science: lighter roasts retain slightly more caffeine. Currently our O.G. Medium Roast contains the highest caffeine content, followed by El Flaco Grande, then The Morning Fix.

Our high-caffeine roast launches November 2026 — certified ORGANIC and available in 10g pods for K-Cup®.

FREE for orders over $49. Below that, we charge a flat $6.99 for coffee shipments throughout the USA. (Merchandise delivery costs are variable.)

Shipping policy. Most orders ship within 1–3 business days, roasted fresh in Tampa. Delivery times are estimates and may vary by carrier and location.

Shipping responsibility. Once an order is handed to the carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for carrier delays, lost or stolen packages marked as delivered, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

All coffee sold on www.cocainecoffee.com is final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges, and we do not offer refunds once an order has been placed. This exists to ensure product safety and freshness, and compliance with food safety regulations.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error, contact orders@cocainecoffee.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. A replacement or reimbursement may be issued at the discretion of Cocaine Coffee™.
