Cocaine Coffee was born from one bold idea:

What if the world’s most powerful cup could change lives — not destroy them?

Founded by Ryan Bumgarner, Cocaine Coffee isn’t just another caffeine brand. It’s a movement to flip the narrative on Colombia’s most infamous export — by replacing coca cultivation with coffee cultivation.

Inspired by the Cocaine for Coffee movement, we champion the shift from coca cultivation to high-quality Colombian coffee. While our foundation is in development, we already source our beans exclusively from farms that have transitioned away from coca. As we grow, we plan to partner directly with these families—working alongside our suppliers and local communities in Colombia—to expand sustainable, legal, and profitable coffee production. Every bag you buy helps fuel this movement and supports a future built on good energy.

Our Head of Coffee, Yulia Bumgarner, leads sourcing and quality — carefully selecting each coffee and working closely with our partners to ensure every roast delivers authentic Colombian excellence.

We source exclusively from Colombian farms that have moved away from coca and committed to growing exceptional coffee. These families are rewriting their future, and as our foundation launches, we intend to stand beside them more directly—supporting sustainable livelihoods rooted in pride, purpose, and possibility. Every bag you brew contributes to this transformation, helping turn struggle into strength and opportunity into growth.

Today, this means sourcing beans from regions with a history of coca farming through trusted suppliers. As we grow, our goal is to deepen those relationships, visit farms directly, and expand programs that support sustainable livelihoods.
