The O.G. Roast is our tribute to authenticity. Grown on former coca fields high in the Colombian mountains, this coffee is what inspired our brand and led to the Cocaine for Coffee™ movement.
It comes from Caicedo, Antioquia — the first officially non-violent municipality in Colombia. In 2002, with the town caught between armed groups, residents linked arms across the road at the El Vaho bridge to stop their coffee harvest being seized. Unarmed. They held them off three times. The town voted to declare itself non-violent in 2007, again in 2013, and was formally proclaimed in 2014. Our importer's name for this lot is Resiliencia. Read the full story →
Taken darker, the same beans give you rich chocolate, roasted nuts, and a hint of caramel sweetness — pure Colombian flavor that'll have you hooked from the first sip.

Start at roughly 60g of coffee per litre of water (about 2 tablespoons per 6oz cup) and adjust to taste.
Water just off the boil, 195-205F. Grind coarse for French press and cold brew, medium for drip and pour-over, fine for espresso.
Store the bag sealed at room temperature, away from light. Grind just before brewing where you can.
