1,950–2,100 m
High altitude means slower cherry development, denser beans and more sugar. It is the biggest single reason Caicedo coffee cups as high as it does.
Caturra · Castillo · Cenicafé
Three Colombian varieties chosen for cup quality and leaf-rust resistance — so a bad season doesn’t push a family back toward coca.
Washed · SCA 84+
Fully washed and fermented, then graded at Aprokafe’s own quality lab. Specialty grade starts at 80. Ours start at 84.
Aprokafe · Elkin Diosa
A grower-run buying centre in Caicedo. Producers are paid 20% above the national reference price and sell specialty directly, instead of through middlemen.
